This Privacy Policy explains what information this website (the "Directory") collects, and what it does not.
1. No accounts, no forms
This site does not require you to create an account, log in, or submit any personal information (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use it.
2. What is stored on your device
To let the Directory work offline and be added to your phone's home screen, your browser may cache the site's files locally (via a "service worker"). This cached data stays on your device only — it is not sent to us or to any third party.
3. No tracking or analytics
This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party analytics services. We do not know who visits this site, what you search for, or which listings you view.
4. Location, if you choose to share it
The map view can ask for your location — either when you tap "Use my location," or automatically when you tap the 🚗 Drive button on a listing if it doesn't have your location yet. Your browser will always ask your permission first; this site never accesses your location without that prompt. You can also type in an address or zip code instead — that text is sent to OpenStreetMap's free address lookup service (Nominatim) to convert it into map coordinates, and is not sent to us or stored. Either way, your coordinates are used only to draw a driving route on the map and to build directions links, and are never sent to us or stored ourselves. For driving directions, your starting point and destination are sent to OpenStreetMap's routing service (OSRM) to calculate the route — this is a request made directly from your browser, not through us. If you don't request directions, no location data is requested at all.
5. Third-party map and calling links
Public transit directions and address taps open Google Maps in a new tab. Tapping a phone number opens your device's phone or calling app. Those services have their own privacy policies, which are outside our control. Viewing the map on this site loads map images from OpenStreetMap, which may log standard technical request data (such as your IP address) the way any website request does.
6. Information about listed organizations
Contact information for organizations listed in this Directory (their addresses, phone numbers, and hours) comes from public sources, including government-published resource lists and publicly available business listings. This is not personal information about you.
7. Children's privacy
This site is intended as a general community resource and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision.
