Is this an official Dallas County website?
No. This directory is independently built and maintained by Korix LLC, a Dallas–Fort Worth small business. The listings were compiled starting from Dallas County Health and Human Services' own published community and refugee clinic resource lists, then verified, corrected, and made easier to search — but this site itself is not operated by Dallas County or any government agency.
Is it free to use?
Yes. There's no cost to search the directory, view listings, or use the map. There are also no accounts, logins, or sign-ups required.
Do I have to pay the organizations listed here?
It depends on the organization. Many listings are entirely free; some clinics and services use sliding-scale fees or ask for a small donation, which is noted directly on that listing when known. Always confirm cost and eligibility directly with the organization before visiting.
How current is the information?
Every listing was checked against public sources as of this site's most recent update, and many were corrected or expanded from the original county PDF. That said, phone numbers, hours, and eligibility rules can change at any time. Always call ahead before relying on a listing, especially for anything urgent.
What if a phone number, address, or listing is wrong?
Please let us know at admin@korixusa.com so it can be corrected. Corrections are genuinely helpful — this directory is only useful if the information in it is accurate.
What if an organization turns me away or can't help?
Unfortunately, that can happen — funding, staffing, and eligibility rules at these organizations change independently of this site. If one resource doesn't work out, try a nearby listing in the same category, or contact 211 Texas for live assistance finding an alternative.
Does this work without internet or mobile data?
Partially. Once you've loaded the site at least once, it caches itself on your device so the pages you've already viewed keep working offline. The interactive map requires an internet connection to load, since map tiles are fetched live.
Can I get directions from where I am?
Yes. Switch to the Map view and tap a pin, then tap 🚗 Drive — if you haven't shared your location yet, it'll ask, then draw the driving route right on the map along with distance and estimated time, without leaving the site. Tapping 🚌 Transit opens Google Maps in a new tab instead, since public transit routing needs live schedule data this site doesn't have built in.
Do I have to share my location to use the map?
No — it's optional. The map and every listing work fully without it. Tapping 🚗 Drive will simply ask for your location first if it doesn't have it yet; you can decline and just browse instead.
"Use my location" says it couldn't find my location — what do I do?
Tap "✏️ Enter address instead" next to the location button and type your address or zip code — this works even when your device's built-in location doesn't, which is common on desktop computers without Wi-Fi hardware (Windows determines location mainly by scanning nearby Wi-Fi networks, so a wired-only desktop often can't be located that way, regardless of browser or permissions).
Can I install this like an app?
Yes. On most Android phones and desktop browsers, tap the "Install app" button in the header. On iPhone, Safari doesn't support automatic install prompts — instead, tap the Share icon and choose "Add to Home Screen."
Is my information tracked when I use this site?
No. There's no tracking, analytics, or cookies on this site. Location sharing for directions is optional, used only in your browser to build a Google Maps link, and is never stored or sent to us. Tapping a phone number opens your device's own phone app, and tapping an address opens Google Maps — those apps have their own separate privacy practices. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Is this directory available in Spanish or other languages?
Yes — the entire site, including every listing's description and details, is available in Spanish. Tap "Español" in the top-right corner of the homepage to switch. Many listings also note which languages are spoken at that organization directly, so you can find a provider who speaks your language.
What should I do in an emergency?
This directory is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger or a medical emergency, call 911. If you're in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline). For non-emergency help finding services, you can also call 211.
